Die Ankunft des Führers in Wien am Montagnachmittag gestaltete sich zu einem triumphalen Einzug, wie ihn wohl noch kein Staatsmann erlebte. Hunderttausende umsäumten viele Stunden vor der Ankunft der Wagenkolonne des Führers die Strassen und ihre Jubelrufe klangen dem Einiger aller Deutschen wie ein Orkan entgegen.
(The Führer's arrival in Vienna on Monday afternoon was a triumphal entry the likes of which no statesman had ever experienced. Hundreds of thousands lined the streets many hours before the arrival of the Führer's motorcade and their cries of joy rang out like a hurricane towards the unifier of all Germans.)
