This North American Aviation P-86A-1-NA Sabre, Air Force serial number 47-609 (later redesignated F-86A), transferred to the National Advisory Committee on Aeronautics as NACA 135, is mounted in the 40 x 80 Foot (12.2 x 24.4 meter) Full Scale Wind Tunnel at the NACA Ames Aeronautical Laboratory, Moffett Field California.
